1927-28 Babe Ruth Signed Baseball. ONL (Heydler) sphere with red/blue stitching is a two-year style dating from Murderer’s Row’s back-to-back world championship seasons. The ball has aged to a brownish hue and exhibits some scuffs but the league stamping is still apparent. Babe signed on a side panel in black while an unknown Alex Metzler occupies the sweet spot. Although some fading and scuffs affect Ruth’s autograph, it is still readily discernable as being that of the Sultan and would display well as a single.
