A Personal Bank Check. (Not the much ballyhooed Green Ink). Dated March 15, 1957 from The First National Bank of Nevada in Reno. Paid to the Order of A. Ty Cobb won the Triple Crown in 1909. 367 career batting average, and so much more. 1936 Inaugural Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee via the BBWAA (1st Ballot, 98.20%). The Man Who Saved Christy Mathewson from succumbing to mustard gas passed away in 1961. Authenticated & Encapsulated by PSA/DNA with assigned certification #84137589. Strength of Signature Graded MINT 9 by PSA/DNA. Evidence of prior mounting on reverse with all four borders showing paste or tape residue. Punch canceled with usual bank stamping present in purple. Slight surface scratching and toning throughout, minimal wear to corners and borders, save any previous description. Acrylic may have scuffs and scratches, but doesn’t affect item.
