You have noticed that the budget for remounts, for the month of March is already spent. Given that this article of the war administration budget was only 3,500,000, where as credits for January, February and March altogether were about 4,500,000. I will probably give the remounts for April. It is then necessary to take a compliment for this department from the 14,885,358 Francs that are allotted in the budget, as “additional emergency funds” for various departments. I have taken these measures because I believe that the remounts expenses for the year will be more than 6,000,000 Francs.
