An incredible set from 1956, the original owner being an avid Presidential memorabilia collector. That collector, Jim, wrote to then Massachusetts Senator John F. Kennedy in 1956, requesting his autograph on his new Profiles In Courage Book, for his collection. JFK generously responded on May 18, 1956 with a typed signed letter, and inscribed and signed his future Pulitzer Prize winning book. Essentially JFK has issued his own letter of authenticity to this book he inscribed. Included with the set are two certificates of authenticity from PSA/DNA, for both signatures on the book and letter. Also included is a vintage 1967 photo of Jim holding his prized possession, this Profiles In Courage book, standing in front of his collection of presidential memorabilia. A beautiful and rare original set of the 35th President, with absolute iron clad provenance. Kennedy signatures have been PSA / DNA certified authentic. Includes a Full Photo PSA/DNA LOA (letter of authenticity) with certification numbers: AB13772 ; AB13773 and photo ensuring authenticity of this item. Letters are pictured below.
